These terms and conditions govern your use of the Azar Rugs website (azarrugs.co.uk) and any purchase you make from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to it.
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of our website in contravention of our intellectual property rights.

3. Products & Orders

3.1 Product Descriptions

We make every reasonable effort to display our rugs accurately, including photographs, dimensions, and material descriptions. However, due to the hand-crafted nature of our products, minor variations in colour, size (±3%), and pattern are inherent characteristics and not considered defects.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of your order.

3.3 Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.

3.4 Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and bank transfer. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details. All transactions are encrypted using TLS.

4. Delivery

We offer white-glove delivery throughout the United Kingdom and selected international destinations. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery to your address.

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes. These are the responsibility of the recipient. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

5. Returns & Refunds (My Order & Return Centre)

5.1 Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at info@azarrugs.co.uk within 14 days of delivery.

5.2 Return Conditions

Items returned must be:

• In their original condition, unworn and unused
• Returned in original packaging where possible
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Bespoke / custom-ordered rugs are non-returnable unless defective.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method as the original transaction. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.

6. 5-Year Guarantee

All rugs purchased from Azar Rugs carry a 5-year craftsmanship guarantee from the date of purchase. This covers:

• Defects in weave or construction
• Significant dye bleeding or fading (under normal conditions)
• Structural failure of fringe or pile

The guarantee does not cover: damage caused by improper cleaning, pets, moisture, fire, or normal wear and tear. To make a guarantee claim, contact info@azarrugs.co.uk with photographs of the defect and your order reference.

7. Individual Manufacturing (Bespoke Orders)

Bespoke commissions are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total order value, payable at the time of order. The balance is due on completion, prior to shipping.

Lead times for bespoke orders are typically 8–16 weeks. By placing a bespoke order, you agree that the item is made specifically for you and is therefore exempt from the standard right to cancel, in accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

B2B pricing and payment terms are agreed on a per-account basis and may differ from consumer terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Azar Rugs Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce any part of this website without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Azar Rugs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods in question.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
